Rayna & Luke's Wedding

Rayna and Luke are so in love! Surrounded by family and friends they tied the knot and chose to say always and forever together. Their special day included many special details including a garter made of Rayna’s mother and grandmother’s wedding dress. Her bouquet showing her fathers badge number as well was so sweet! Enjoy these highlights from their special day!

Whitney & Bryan's Wedding

Whitney and Bryan committed themselves to each other in front of their family and friends from across the country in style and comfort. Their love was radiating and also present in the hearts of those who celebrated this union. There were so many thoughtful details from shuttling guests in from the resort by boat to a surprise (for Whitney) firework show at the end.

The first time Bryan met Whitney she had a mask on in the medical environment and then her online profile picture she had sunglasses on but he could see the rest of her face. Long story short they finally put two and two together after a few dates and had a good laugh about it. The 16th was chosen for the day to get married as it was both of their jersey numbers and had other significance to them as well. There are so many fun serendipities of their love story, the people in their lives, and even down to the vendors involved but enough talk scroll and see the magic for yourself!

Quick shout out to the vendors that helped make this wedding a five star event!

  • Gorgeous florals from Pearl & Tin.

  • Cafe Carambola had an excellent spread that included the best tamales in town, guacamole to die for and the lovely menu featured below.

  • Birdie’s Pie Shop with an assortment of personal pies.

  • Huth Sound was there to provide distributed sound across the entire estate. DJ Armen was there to emcee and keep the party going. He also brought in his lighting expertise to add to the luxurious esthetic.

  • Sue DiBiase was the coordinator who worked her magic to bring all the details and vision to life.

  • Spokane Photo Booth provided their services and guests loved it!

  • And for the first time we got to have our nephew Jonah Huth be our third shooter for a wedding and it was fun to include him in this day and dip his toes into the industry we love so much!

Vanessa & Jacob's Wedding at Silverbell Wedding & Events

Vanessa and Jacob Gallion have one of the most sweet and natural evolutions of a relationship. It all started with Vanessa posting about a healthy noodle and Jake asked where she got them, then they didn’t stop talking from there. Their first date was over coffee then a couple of days later they went to the gym and Costco and the rest is history. They are both incredibly dedicated and strive for excellence in everything they do.

This wedding had some incredible vendors whom we’ve worked with before and some new faces as well!

  • My second shooter and drone operator was my father Mark Anthony with Anthony Productions

  • The lovely Madam Twirl coordinated everything so smoothly and kept everyone in line

  • DJ Matt Shuman keeping things poppin’ in the best of ways

  • Catering was delicious as always with Outlaw BBQ

  • Flowers by Lily Garland

  • Brewski Wagon provided refreshments

  • Birdy’s Pie Shop had an incrdible variety of delicious pies

  • Glo-Up Photo booth was a guest favorite for sure with a unique phone guest book as well

  • Siverbell Wedding & Events was a lovely venue and the owner truly loves sharing his multi-generational farm with the community

Alexa & Taylor's Intimate Wedding

From the frozen snow covered dock on Newman Lake you can see Mt.Spokane in the distance which is where Taylor and Alexa’s eyes first met. What a fortunate meeting that day on a chairlift and they’ve been inseparable for years since. Having countless adventures on mountains and across the country in ‘Hugo’ which is their decked out van they have now added marriage to their truly unique love story. Surrounded by only their closest family and friends they said, “I do!” However there will be a much larger celebration this summer and we’re all so excited to welcome another Mrs.Puryear to our family.

Meghan & Joe's Wedding

This sweet couple truly radiate joy and God’s love with contagious laughter and perma-grins. From caring about the community to caring for their eight children their hearts and home now have an abundance of love and partnership. For their unity ceremony they poured soil into a beautiful plant and each child did too. Nourishing the plant that symbolizes their family each member does its part to help maintain growth and healthy roots. Team Standing Bear now has a den of cubs and fierce protectors. This backyard wedding was special in so many ways and was followed by the most epic game of musical chairs we’ve ever witnessed but don’t just take our word for it, check it out.

Crystal & Ben's Wedding

Grab a tissue because this love story will make you tear up. Through God’s grace these two found each other after tragic loss and the way they honored their dear departed spouses left no dry eyes. Joined by their nine children, closest friends and family they committed themselves to one another and turn the page in a love story unlike any other.

Paula & Zeb's Wedding

Why have just one day for your ceremony and reception when you can have two? Paula and Zeb chose to make it a weekend to remember with their closest friends and family and we were honored to capture these moments and portraits for them.

Sarah & Sky's Wedding

This lovely celebration of the union of Sarah & Sky Grant with their friends and family was magical and true to them. Thoughtful words were shared and many laughs were had, perhaps even a few tears of sweet joy and admiration. The most delicious wedding cake we’ve ever had (and that says a lot) was made by Sky’s wonderful mother. In true Alice in Wonderland theme, you’re my cup of tea. Since we’re all mad here see for yourself the wonder that unfolded.

“And what is the use of a book,” thought Alice, “without pictures or conversations?”

Michael & Ashley's Country Wedding

Michael and Ashley tied the knot and were bound together forever in a beautiful country ceremony in Idaho. Like in true fairytale fashion Ashley rode sidesaddle to the aisle led by her grandfather on a majestic horse! There were so many sweet and sentimental details from a classic family car, to grandpa’s cowboy boots and hat and even Ashley’s first pair of cowgirl boots.

It was such a perfect day! But don’t take our word for it, see for yourself!

Kaileigh & Conrad's Wedding

Kayleigh and Conrad’s love story began as a friendship. A love so true and pure that it is a bright example for many. These two sure know how to have fun, be themselves and pursue life with vigor and character. When we first met them they were just friends and it’s been truly special to see their compassion and respect blossom into a beautiful courtship and now marriage. I don’t think we know many couples who have read so many books about marriage or took such initiative to learn and grow together before they chose to get married. Intentional and loyal is how we would describe their relationship. They choose to put God first and make Him the center of their lives. They have such beautiful hearts and we were so honored to be chosen to document their special day at the lovely Bigelow Arbors Chapel.

Zach & Tedi's Wedding Reception

These two old souls are so full of life and love for each other! So much in fact that they just had to elope one day down in Colorado. But of course they could not go long without having a celebration with their friends and family back in Walla Walla, Washington. These are some of the highlights from that celebration with their loved ones. Enjoy!

Krystal & Joe's Wedding

Krystal & Joe’s wedding was near and dear to our hearts. From childhood friends to now married with a beautiful family that has expanded, it’s been a blessing to see Krystal and Joe love each other and care for each other so beautifully. Alicia has known Krystal since the third grade and Diana, Krystal’s mom, was their third grade teacher at the time. No matter how much time passes they are the type of people who can pick up right where you let off and enjoy the moment at hand like you never skipped a beat. We love them dearly and were so honored to photograph their special day!

Grace & Joey's Wedding

Grace & Joey got married at the gorgeous Robinswood House in Bellevue. Their love is so sweet and so tender there was not a dry eye throughout the day. The merging of their two families seemed seamless and meant to be. Down the aisle it read: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails.

We laughed, we cried it was a beautiful ceremony and celebration! Whether you were there or just experiencing their wedding through these images we dare you to keep a dry eye because what you’re about to see is love, true love. Enjoy!

Tayn & Courteney's Wedding

Tayn and Courteney have a one of a kind of love. Tayn oogles over Courteney's cheeks like a kid in a candy store. He proposed right after Courteney was baptized in front of their friends and family. Their faith is the center of their relationship and the fierce loyalty they have to their friends and family is evidence of that. Their love spills over into every aspect of their lives and is even obvious in the way they love their boxer, Willow, who is their precious fur baby. Their wedding took place at their family's farm house underneath two giant trees on a hot summer day surrounded by friends and family.

It's not very often that we get the chance to shoot the wedding of a family member but it was truly an honor to capture their love story since their engagement. We love Tayn & Courteney and it has been incredible watching their love grow.

Kayle's Special Day

Most woman dream of the day the love of their life asks their hand in marriage. As for Kayle I'm sure she never in her wildest dreams would've thought her love would plan everything out so meticulously and include so many of the people closest to her all the while guiding her through a day filled with pampering and tasty treats! Richard went above and beyond even laminating instructions for family members and laminating his notes for Kayle with darling Disney images on the back side. Since there was so much I asked Kayle to explain in her words the events that transpired leading up to the big question, the following are her words.

“He painted over her scars with every color her could find until she lost them in the setting sun.”

From the time I was little, I was always dreaming of the man I would marry and the wedding we would have. My mom has told me how I have always had this dream of a big wedding and how pretty/perfect it would be. When I got a little older I also started to dream of the way my future husband would ask me to be his wife. Now at 26, I was still dreaming of that engagement and wedding. God had sent me the man who would make that dream come true.

A week before August 5th, Richard told me not to make any plans for the following weekend and that I could not ask any questions. Being a type A personality and needing to know all details and the plan for everything, this was excruciating. The following week was full of not being able to see who he was texting and odd trips to different stores. Finally Friday came and I got to ask what was happening the next day. He simply said “Wake up tomorrow, throw up your hair and don’t put on any makeup. You will need to be ready at 8 am. ” That’s it?! That’s all I get for an answer?! Ugh fine. I will continue to wait. Talk about a rough night of sleeping. I felt like I was five all over again on Christmas Eve.

Finally, Saturday morning comes and I get up and walk to the bathroom to get ready under the terms that were given to me. When I went to open the door there was a note on the door saying “In Here”. Then it hit me. Richard was always one to do fun little scavenger hunts for me. Earlier that year he surprised me with a couple different concert tickets. Another time with was a nerf gun war. He is always full of fun things to keep me on my toes. Well, I go into the bathroom and there was my first clue of the day. There was one hint from him that I got to read right away and an envelope I couldn’t read until I was ready to go. So I threw on my clothes and threw up my hair into a messy bun and finally got to open the envelope waiting for me. It was a letter from my youngest sister (I am the oldest of four girls) Noelle’s letter talked about her admiration for me and the role I play in her life. She talked about meeting Richard for the first time and how she was sure he would one day become another sibling to her.  I had just got done reading it and putting it back in the envelope when I heard a knock on my apartment door. I open it and there is Noelle. We head out and our dad (Noelle is only 14 and cannot drive and I wasn’t allowed to drive that day due to Richard’s rules) took us to my favorite little place for breakfast – Cottage Café. I had French toast and she had a Belgium waffle. We got to sit and talk and catch up about her first year of high school and all she was looking forward to. She told me funny stories that had happened over the summer. When we were done eating she pulled out another envelope with another clue from Richard and a letter from my dad.

My dad spoke of the woman I have become and how proud he was of me. It melted my heart. Words from my dad could never be replaced or forgotten. Since Noelle’s and my time was over, she went home and my dad and I went off on our way. My family takes our coffee seriously and we LOVE a great cup of coffee. Dad took me to a little coffee place I had never been downtown called Saranac Commons. They decorated the steamed milk into hearts and had big mugs. He got his usual mocha Breve hot and I got a vanilla soy latte. Both were absolutely fantastic. Life has gotten busy as being an adult and my dad and I had not been able to go snag some one-on-one time for a while. We sat at a table outside. I didn’t realize it at first but the table was so big that I looked like a five year old sitting at it. We got talk to talk about life and all the aspects we were going through. There was seriousness and laughter in the topics we discussed. There is nothing that can replace that time with my dad. Like my time with my sister, it came to an end and dad gave me the next envelope. My next clue and letter. The thing was this time I couldn’t open it yet.  My dad took me to the Davenport Hotel and told me that I was going to the Spa. I have only had one message in my life but I was soooooo excited for this to happen. When I got to the spa, I explained what was happening so far in my morning to the front desk lady and asked what type of message I would be receiving. There was a lady standing in line behind me who over heard my morning adventures. She got my attention before heading back into the Spa lounge and told me that I had an amazing man and to never let him go. I smiled and said I knew. God had truly blessed me with a man who strived every day to make me feel loved.

Once my AMAZING massage was done, I got to open the envelope that dad had given me. It was another clue from Richard and a letter from my sister Meghan. ( She is baby number three in our family. ) Meghan spoke how through the good and hard times in life, she knows our friendship/sisterhood can withstand it all. She also called me her role model. I went up the street to my favorite sushi place – The Wave. We got sushi and talked about her plans since she had just graduated earlier that summer. What she wants in life and her future plans. We shared lots of laughs. She drove me home on this beautiful and hot summer day – with a car that doesn’t have air conditioning. Something we can laugh about now but we were both dying of heat on that drive home.  She handed me my next envelope, gave me a hug and headed her own way. It was shower time finally! I got all clean and dressed again and read my next clue and letter.

Lecia is my first baby sister. She talked of years past and how we used to drive each other crazy because our personalities are so different. Now we are great friends. In fact, she went with me the first few times I went to Richards’s house after we started dating to watch movies and hang out. Lecia drove me back downtown to a hair salon. I was in need of a haircut for a while and this was a perfect opportunity for Richard to spoil me again.  I got my hair cut and back to being healthy while shooting the breeze about anything and everything with Lecia. We shared more laughs and inside jokes. I don’t think I stopped smiling all day. With my fresh haircut, Lecia handed me my next letter and clue. By this time I had figured out the pattern. He would send me a clue and whoever the letter was from was the next person I got to see. This letter was from my best friend Alicia.

Alicia spoke words of kindness and how our friendship seems that it has lasted a lifetime is actually short in the grand scheme of life. She spoke words of love and admiration. Lecia dropped me off at her house and went on her way to seeing my adorable niece. Alicia, Ronnie (her son – my nephew) and I headed out onto our next adventure. We stopped for a Starbucks’s coffee and a cake pop. You can never go wrong with either of those. Alicia took me to the nail salon I like. I got my toes and nails done. We got to sit in the massage chairs and catch up about the last few days of life. Ronnie was full of smiles as always and flirted with the nail tech ladies. We loaded back up into the car and she gave me my next clue and envelope. The clue was full of words of the relationship between a mother and a daughter. I started crying because I am obviously an emotional baby with sentimental things. I took a breath, told Alicia I was probably about to cry even more as I read this letter. The letter from my mom spoke of all the things she loved about me. Some made me laugh and some touched my heart deeply. Alicia dropped me off at my moms and went on her way.

Mom and I got to go get happy hour drinks and appetizers at The Maxx. One of my favorite restaurants and the place Richard and I had our first date. We talked about life and the events of day. This is not uncommon for us to share but this time especially will never be forgotten. We paid our bill and we on our way back to my apartment. When I came home, I walked through my front door to a trail to of rose petals and candles leading to my room. Taped to my door was a letter from Richard's mom and dad. I had just met them over the Fourth of July in Omaha where Richard is from. They talked about how they loved meeting Tristan and I. They also spoke about how wonderful Richard and I were together. They spoke of marriage and how we deserved that we each other.

When I opened my door, there were flower petals all over the bed and candles. Richard had handwritten a letter and had a beautiful mint colored dress for me. In the letter Richard spoke of the things we had over come as a couple this far and that we could make it through anything together. He spoke of the future and how one day he would be my husband and I would be his wife. I was instructed to put on the dress and get ready to go.  My mom and I went to her car and she blind folded me. I tried to pay attention to the turns and try to guess where we were going but I couldn’t. We made it to our destination and I had to walk up some stairs and down what felt like an eternity of stairs. That’s when I heard our song "Can't Help Falling in Love" playing. I immediately started to cry. My mom whispered in my ear " and this is where I leave you" and took my blind fold off. We were at my parents house, under the stars with the pool lit up in the back yard. There in front of me was Richard. He was dressed up and had a big smile on his face. I felt more tears flowing down my face. I walked to him and he told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him and to marry him. "OF COURSE! YES!" I some how think I managed to get out. My friends Alicia and her husband Jed were snapping pictures and I turned to see my whole family standing there watching.

On one of the most special days of my life, my future everything had incorporated the people I hold most dear to my heart. He made so many memories for me that I get to hold near and dear forever. I love that I get to spend forever with the man I love more than anything. I look forward to being Mrs. Kayle Walkowiak.

Their contagious laughter and bright hopes for the future attract hearts of gold. They both have a love of adventure and travel while also having incredible servant hearts full of compassion and they want to make an impact on the world around them. Very few weddings go on without a hitch and this was one for the books! Enjoy!

Tayn & Courteney's Engagement Session

Today Tayn deploys to serve our country across the great big blue and he returns shortly before their wedding. These two lovebirds are more than friends, they are family. Since Jed played football with Tayn at Valley Christian in 2008 and 2009 so much has happened. His lovely aunt Bobbie married Jed's dad and now Tayn has fallen for this beautiful, kind and goofy gal that we have fallen in love with too! Courteney is a perfect addition to our family and we now have a new friend that we get to do life with! We love you guys and we can't wait to celebrate with you very soon!

Tonya & Zach's Wedding

This couple is just as unique as their wedding day! Tonya and Zach sure know how to have a good time and so many little details made their special day unforgettable. From Tonya's vibrant fake first look dress to her ability to keep a straight face for several minutes while Zach complimented her beauty this couple showed their love and sense of humor that makes their love so unique and strong throughout the day. Their love story began here in Spokane but it has taken them to California. No matter the miles their friends and family rally behind them and their support shines as bright as Tonya and Zach's love.
