Our friend Alex had been planning this night for about six months. The way he wanted her to turn around and then when she looked back at him he would be down on one knee. Little did he know she would turn around because of the fireworks and it would be a magical moment indeed.
The night started with winds picking up and we were worried the launch might be canceled. Even though it was a struggle to get the lanterns lit Alex and Meagan were able to get one up and watched it float away before the fireworks began. As the fireworks started Meagan turned to watch them and when she looked back to grab Alex's hand she saw him down on one knee and her expression of surprise and joy was priceless!
